For the past few days, I've been learning about All Saints Day. All Saints Day is a day where you celebrate All of the Saints.
I enjoyed colouring all of the things on the slide.
I found it challenging to colour the background because I was indecisive.

Next time I would work more efficiently and quicker.
For the past 3 weeks, I've been doing a painting of Frida Kahlo.
I enjoyed painting Frida Kahlo and her juicy lips!
I found it challenging to attempt to do light direction but in the end I ended up not succeeding.
Next time I would try to use light direction.

For 2 days, My class has been learning about financial literacy.
Financial Literacy is when you learn how to earn money in different ways and how to save and budget it.
Early in the morning someone called Callum from ASB get wi$e was telling us about financial literacy.
I enjoyed researching the cost of what im saving up for.
I found it tricky to plan what i'm saving up for.
Next time I would work faster.
This week, My class has been learning to compare and contrast.
In my class for this week we've reading about Matariki and comparing the 7 stars from other countries such as Inuit, where the bears chased the maidens.
I enjoyed writing the information down.
I found it tricky to find a background because they didn't seem to look right
Next time I would change the background.
This week my class has been learning how to write an invitation.
Firstly, I had to make an avatar on Avatar Maker. Then I claimed a slide and started writing and decorating my slide, this was for the inside of our invitation. We had to make sure our invitation had where it was, the time, date, who it was going to and who it was from.
I enjoyed making an avatar because it was easy.
I found it very tricky to crop the text box in the slide.
Next time I would make the avatar bigger.
What is bee balling?
Bee balling is when the bees surround the imposter or a queen bee that doesn’t lay eggs anymore.
Firstly, the bees slowly form a ball around an imposter or a queen bee that can’t lay eggs. When there are enough bees the ball slowly warms up and the body temperature of the bee inside the ball gets really hot and dies.
They do this to protect their honey. They also do it because the queen bee doesn’t serve a purpose in the hive anymore.
Lastly, when the queen has died a new queen starts and they go in a continuous life cycle.
Did you know that bees sting other bees and if a queen bee meets another queen they fight to death to see who can survive.
This week, I was learning to infer. (Inferring is when the story gives you the clue but not the answer).
I enjoyed writing down the ways to describe Perseus.
I found it challenging to arrange the text boxes.
Next time I would change the colour of the background.
My digital learning shows that I can use Google Drawings.
This week for Samoan language week, my class did a thing called a Tapa Cloth we didn't properly make one because we didn't have a cloth but, we used cardboard called Sugar Paper instead! I enjoyed dying my Tapa Cloth because it was the easy part. I found it challenging to draw the outline of the lines. Next time I would try make the lines straighter.
Today for Cybersmart, I was learning how to make a sprite using a site called piskel. A sprite is a avatar or virtual object that you can create by using piskel. I enjoyed making my piskel because I could create my own avatar! I found it challenging to get the right skin tone on the colour pallette. Next time I'm going to finish my avatar fully so it looks complete!

Today, I did my May reflection. The whole class does it every month to see what we are doing in the class. I enjoyed the trivia questions and answers because I got to pick the questions I wanted. I found it challenging to get the right selfie because I didn't like most of the selfies I took.

Today, in RE I was learning Jesus's Ascension. I learnt that on Sunday after the 50 days of joy Jesus ascends to heaven as his 11 disciples watch him rise. I enjoyed making a google drawing because it was something different than usual. I found it challenging to find images for my google drawing. Today, for Cybersmart we were learning to get free images for use. First, I made a copy of the slide we had to use. The left side was the past and the is now. I enjoyed making my own past and present images. I found it challenging to find present images. My digital learning object shows that I can use Google Slides.

For 3 days, We have been learning how to code with a thing called a Bee Bot (a Bee Bot is a thing that can help you learn how to code) I enjoyed figuring out how many steps its took to get to my number for my bee bot. I found it challenging to measure how many steps it took to get to my number. My digital learning object shows that I can use Google Docs code.

This week, in reading I was learning how to summarise. I enjoyed reading the article about Gustav (Gustav was a Pigeon in WW2 he helped to send messages on paper) I found it challenging to find a background for my Google Slides. My digital learning object shows that I can use Google Slides. Next time I would change my background.

Today, we were learning how to make connections between what we read. I enjoyed reading the facts because I like reading. I found it tricky to write down the facts because I kept on making spelling errors and having to fix them. Next time I would change the background to better shades.
Today, I was reflecting on March. I enjoyed writing my golden line because I got to put the sentence I liked the most from my writing book. I found it difficult to write in my it wasn't luck paragraph cause I couldn't think of anything much but I did it! My digital learning objective shows that I can reflect on March using google drawings. Next time possibly I could change the Golden Line.
Today, I was filling out my Term 1 Goals. I enjoyed writing my own goals to set in each box. I found it tricky to find which character I would be because all of them sound nice but I eventually I decided on Kahutuanui because it sound close to me. Next time I would try get this done faster.
Today, we were learning how to use mote which is a voice recorder for google slides.
First of all I made some of my slide, then I had to sign up for mote using my google account. I made my voice recording by clicking on the purple mote button.
For the past few weeks I was learning how to collect and display data. I had to collect and display data by seeing who liked McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut or None.
I enjoyed gathering information.
I found it tricky to write down the information.
For the past few days, I was reflecting on February. I reflected on reading, math goals, writing and special projects. I enjoyed taking the selfie. I also enjoyed doing the special projects. I found it tricky to do my maths goals because I didn't know what to put.
Today, we were sorting the story parts for the Treaty of Waitangi. The dates were 1814-1840 September.
Today, I was learning how to make connections between what I read. I enjoyed learning the difference between my fingerprints and others. I found it challenging to do my fingerprint on my paper. Next time I would try better to put my fingerprint down on my paper.
